If you are preparing for a career in business or are already working and would like to move into an international setting, then this is the course for you.
This Business English & Professional Skills course is available as a standard 24 lesson/20 hours per week course in 2024, or 21 hours per week in 2025, leaving you with three afternoons free, or as an Intensive course combined with one of our afternoon optional courses. You can select these optional classes in the booking menu.
On this Business English and Professional Skills course you will study a wide range of Business and Professional English language, both spoken and written, from a variety of business topics. You will study alongside others who are focused on similar career goals and Business English language learning.
done Focus on soft skills useful for business such as time management, teamwork and problem solving.
done Study grammar through business contexts and examples.
done Improve your skills through presentations, debates and case studies.
done Practise various types of business speaking skills by doing presentations, debates, role-plays and surveys.
done Study real cases from current affairs and business journals.
done Work in dynamic classes with others who work, or plan to work, in business.
done Improve your confidence in speaking in different business situations, such as networking or interviews.
done Receive up to 2 hours of homework each day.
All students can start their course on any Monday throughout the year. Please note that some public holidays in the UK fall on a Monday in which case students will start their course on the Tuesday.
The school closes for Christmas and New Year on Friday 20 December 2024 and re-opens on Monday 6th January 2025.

Please note that there is no reduction in the course fees where a course includes a public holiday.
