Our Legal English course is designed for law students, practising lawyers and other professionals working in the legal sector, but will also prepare you for the TOLES examination (Test of Legal English Skills). If you want to develop your English language skills within a legal context, then this is the course for you. Our Legal English course covers various areas of law and includes the study of real court trials in order to enhance the learning experience of the students. These courses follow our intensive timetable of 28 lessons/23 hours 20 minutes per week.
You will work on improving all four English language skills within a legal context as well as learning specific legal terminology and how to use it appropriately. In addition to this, participants are expected to improve their core study skills through up to 2 hours of focused self-study each evening set by their tutors to meet their needs.
You will follow our Intensive course timetable of 28-lessons per week and will study Monday - Thursday 09:15 - 15:45 and Friday 09:15 - 12:55 only.

Lessons will be tailored to include specific areas of interest for students new to the course.
The course includes a free visit to a court of law and you will see a real trial (subject to court schedules).
*Hybrid online courses are suitable if you have to quarantine or self-isolate for up to 10-days here in the UK. You can join the school-based class after your quarantine period has ended.
