IElts londonAll students will be required to pass the school exam entrance test before starting their exam course. You may enrol after the starting date subject to availability and your level of English. Students cannot finish an examination course before the end date. 

 

This IELTS Preparation Course is perfect for students who wish to be fully prepared for the IELTS Academic examinations.

It also gives fantastic guidance on academic study techniques for use at an English-speaking university, meaning that the students can totally prepare themselves for studying in an English university. In 2024, this course follows our standard timetable of 24 lessons per week/20 hours per week. In 2025, this course will follow our standard timetable of 21 hours per week.

These IELTS courses prepare students for Academic IELTS examinations. Students may take the IELTS exam at the end of the course and we strongly advise you to enrol and pay for this when booking the course.

You will:

done Benefit from a dedicated class that will prepare you for IELTS Academic examination.

done Develop academic study skills such as critical thinking, structuring arguments and online research, to prepare you for a course of study at an English-speaking college.

done Develop your understanding of the features of Academic English, such as grammar structures or expressions.

done Improve your confidence in academic speaking by taking part in presentations and debates.

done Receive up to 2 hours of homework each day.

WSE Holiday Dates

All students can start their course on any Monday throughout the year. Please note that some public holidays in the UK fall on a Monday in which case students will start their course on the Tuesday. 

The school closes for Christmas and New Year on Friday 20 December 2024 and re-opens on Monday 6th January 2025.

Holiday dates for 2025 are:

Please note that there is no reduction in the course fees where a course includes a public holiday.
