The internationally recognised Trinity College London TESOL certificate (Level 5 OFQUAL qualification) is accepted by the British Council as an initial certification for English language teachers in its accredited teaching organisations in the UK and overseas.
This online teacher training course, accredited by Trinity College London, is 14 weeks in length and carries all of the normal benefits that our face-to-face course offers, with the added advantage of being able to gain the qualification from the comfort of your own home!
On the course, you will receive an introduction to the theory and practice of how to teach English to speakers of other languages. You will also gain an insight into the challenges faced by different types of learners, and how teachers can best help them to achieve their goals.
Over the fourteen weeks, you will receive input from experienced trainers, who will explain different ways of guiding students through the complexities of the English language at different levels. As well as the theory, you will also have six hours of supported and observed online Teaching Practice, and you will be helped to see things from a student’s perspective by having a short course in an unknown language.
