Wimbledon School of English (WSE) has been named English Language School of the Year, UK, at the UED Summit in Ankara, Türkiye. The award recognises the school's reputation among international education agencies and its strong relationships with education partners in the Turkish market.
The award was voted for by members of UED (the Association of International Educational Counselors), which represents education agencies across Türkiye that support students looking to study abroad.
Wimbledon School of English Chief Executive Jane Dancaster and Yahya Khoudeir, Sales Executive for MENA and Türkiye, attended the summit in Ankara to accept the award and celebrate UED's 25th anniversary.
The event brought together international education professionals and provided an opportunity for WSE to meet with its education partners, discuss developments in the industry and strengthen relationships in the Turkish market.
Recognition from International Education Partners
The award is particularly meaningful to Wimbledon School of English as it was decided by UED members, including education agencies that work directly with students planning to study English in the UK.
Türkiye is an important market for UK English language schools, and partnerships with local education agencies play a key role in helping students choose the right courses and study destinations.
WSE would like to thank all UED members who voted for the school, as well as its education partners in Türkiye for their continued trust and support.
Special thanks also go to UED and its President, Canan Severoglu, for organising the summit and bringing the international education community together to celebrate the association's 25th anniversary.
