Tennis Course for Young English Language Learners
At Lord Wandsworth College, there are fantastic tennis courts and facilities on campus. Students can enjoy a game of tennis during our regular sports and activities programme - all while improving their English language skills.
For young tennis players who want to take their game to the next level, at both centres, we offer the Optional Tennis Sports Academy. On both programmes (LWC & WSE) the academy offers professional coaching in small groups from experienced and qualified instructors who are passionate about tennis and committed to helping young players reach their full potential. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced tennis player, the Optional Tennis Academy provides a structured and supportive environment where you can develop your skills and gain confidence on the court. At Lord Wandsworth College, the lessons will take in one of the tennis courts on campus. In Wimbledon, tennis coaching will take place in the nearby Wimbledon Park Tennis Club. Wimbledon Park has great tennis courts and the lessons provides an enriching tennis experience in the heart of Wimbledon. By participating in the Optional Tennis Sports Academy, young players can pursue their passion for tennis while also enhancing their language abilities, making it a fantastic opportunity for any young athlete looking to develop their skills and broaden their horizons.

English courses for Teenagers in the UK
Wimbledon School of English offers a range of Junior courses designed to provide young learners with a world-class English language education in London and Hampshire. The courses are tailored to the needs and interests of students of different ages and abilities, from elementary to advanced English levels. In addition to the language tuition, the courses offer a range of sports and cultural activities, providing students with a comprehensive and immersive experience that will help them to develop their language skills, confidence, and independence. With experienced and qualified teachers, modern facilities, and a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, a Wimbledon School of English Juniors programme is the perfect place for young learners to achieve their language goals and have a memorable and enriching experience.
Our WSE Juniors in Wimbledon course is for students aged 14 - 17 years old and is available from Sunday 25th June to Sunday 13th August 2023. This English course for juniors is located in beautiful premises in the heart of Wimbledon. This exciting Wimbledon-based programme combines the study of English with other topics and includes daily visits to the centre of London.
Our Junior Summer Centre at Lord Wandsworth College is for 12 - 17-year-olds and is open from Sunday 9th July to Saturday 5th August 2023. The college is situated on the border of Hampshire and Surrey, an hour and 30 minutes outside of Central London, and is surrounded by 500 hectares of beautiful English countryside.
